Standing Out From The Crowd

With new bed-in-a-box companies popping up every month, the already competitive mattress industry has been even more saturated over the past couple years. The industry is rapidly changing, and some traditional mattress companies have had a hard time keeping up. With 12 competitors on the same road in a small Montana town, our client faced the challenge of standing out amongst the crowd. 42connect's goal was to raise brand awareness and increase foot traffic into the mattress showroom using digital marketing.

How To Win Locally

Using a mix of PPC call-only ads, highly targeted geo-specific search campaigns, promotion of the local listing, and brand awareness, we were able to significantly improve lead volume and in-store traffic. Additionally, with ratings and reviews being a huge factor in competitive comparison, 42connect developed a strategic plan to increase review volume in order to increase social proof. Finally, while we can not perfectly measure in-store traffic, we did implement several online signals in order to create a baseline and measure the impact of our efforts.
